To ensure year-on-year consistency, we safe-keep ‘library stock’, in order to retain the ‘principle of the Solera’. As this Champagne is considered our introductory Champagne, it is deemed an ‘invitation’, exuding freshness and conviviality for the senses.
Les Parcelles: an extremely accomplished wine with a smooth texture and very rich aromas. Blend: 60% Pinot Noir - 40% Chardonnay with base wine from 2014 (75%) and 2013 (25%). Aged on the lees for 4 years. This cuvée has attracted the attention of the world’s greatest wine tasters.
‘Dans un premier temps…’ (Brut): 50% Chardonnay from Sézanne, 30% Pinot Noir from Avenay Val d’Or and 20% Pinot Meunier from Cuis. Old vines (45 years old) giving a low yield and excellent concentration. 70% vintage 2016 and 30% reserve wine (perpetuated since 1986). Fermentation in stainless steel vats and maturation in oak barrels. This accessible yet already rather complex cuvée is the perfect introduction to Dhondt-Grellet champagnes.
L’or d’Eugène gathers the patchwork of the various terroirs of champagne Moussé Fils from the villages of Cuisles, Jonquery, Châtillon sur Marne and Vandière. Committed towards a sustainable viticulture respecting nature and life. Blanc de Noirs (80% Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir). Blend from a perpetual reserve started in 2003 ending in 2016 (50%). This solera brings more thickness, deepness and roundness to the younger wines. L’Or d’Eugène is characterized by fine and delicate bubbles. Fruitiness, freshness, fullness, generosity and length are the key words to describe this outstanding cuvée. A precise Champagne full of drinkability.
100% Chardonnay coming from the best terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and mainly from Vertus. Vendémiaire is made only from the most qualitive juice called « la cuvée ». Blending of 3 different vintages. Base wine 2012 for 50%, 2011 for 30% and 2010 for 20% of the blend. Vinification in oak barrels for 40% and the balance in stainless steel. Bottles in 2013. 5 years matured in cellars which is very rare in Champagne but ideal to give a nice patina to the Chardonnay. A perfect introduction to the univers of Champagne Doyard.
From hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes this cuvée is the fruit of the traditional Veuve Fourny methods: manual handling, long aceration… Blended with the Chardonnay, the Pinot Noir reveals its subtlety on the nose: red and black fruit, with a great freshness in the mouth. For your special moments.
